I miss when bondo was green instead of that baby poop pink color
The old green Evercoat formula from the 90s set up way slower but you could feather it out perfect without it crumbling on you. I still have a half can in my garage that I bring out for tricky spots. Has anyone else noticed the new stuff just doesn't sand the same?

That green bondo was the absolute best, wasn't it? I still grab my old can for the same reason, that new pink stuff just doesn't feather out nearly as smooth.

Totally agree it's the same with spray paint now. The old formula from even five years ago laid down way smoother, but the new low-VOC stuff just spits and runs no matter what you do. It's like everything is getting "improved" with new rules but nobody asked if the trade-off was worth it. My dad always says they do that with tools too, making them "safer" but then they break twice as fast. Guess that green bondo was one of the last good things that didn't need fixing.
