Customer said my orange peel looked like a golf ball, fixed my whole process

Had a guy in Tacoma last Thursday pick up his fender and go, "Hey, did you texture this to match my driver's glove?" I was embarrassed at first, but he was laughing. He showed me how to check my clear coat under a bright flashlight at a low angle before baking. Turns out my gun pressure was too low and my distance was off by about 4 inches. Has anyone else had a customer give them a tip that actually stuck? I still think about that golf ball comment every time I spray now.
