Watched my neighbor pressure wash his own siding and finally got why my DIY jobs always look rough
My neighbor Dave was out front last Saturday with a rented pressure washer and I watched him go top to bottom in slow, even passes on his brick, and that was when it hit me. I had been doing mine bottom up for years, which just pushes dirty water streaks back into the clean part, and I always blamed the machine. He said he pays $40 for the rental at the place on Roswell Road and does it twice a year, no pro needed. Mine has looked blotchy since I moved in three years ago and I honestly thought my siding was just old. Anyone else figure out a basic home job this late, or is it just me?
