Paid $310 for insulation in my attic off Buford Highway and it cut my power bill in half
Back in 2007 I just tossed some old batts up there myself and called it done, and my summer bills still ran $240 a month. Two years back I finally hired a crew out of Chamblee to blow in proper insulation and they charged me $310. My July bill came in at $113 and the house holds cool air way better now. Did the cheaper DIY route actually work for anybody here or did you end up paying twice like me?
