Waited 4 months to shoot the same nebula from my backyard in Boise, the glow difference is nuts
Took a shot of the Orion Nebula last October from my driveway with just a stock DSLR and a cheap tripod. Pulled it back out in February after I finally got a tracking mount and stacked 40 frames instead of 8. The dust lanes are actually visible now and the core is not just a white blob anymore. Same camera, same neighborhood, same light pollution, just way more total exposure time doing the work. Anyone else shocked by how much stacking changes things before you buy a single new lens?
