The difference between looking at nebula photos on a phone vs a real monitor

I used to just scroll through Hubble shots on my phone and thought they looked fine. Then last month I pulled up the same Orion Nebula image on my 27 inch desktop screen and noticed all these wispy details in the dust lanes I had completely missed before. Has anyone else had that moment where switching to a bigger display totally changed how they see a photo?

Yep, that's exactly what happened to me with the Pillars of Creation image. Saw it on a phone first and it was just pretty colors. On my 24 inch screen, the texture of that gas cloud blew my mind. It's like seeing a whole different picture.
