A comment about star trails changed my whole editing flow

Back in 2018 I posted a shot of the Milky Way over Mount Hood and someone said my stars looked like blurry smudges. I got defensive but then checked the raw files and yeah, they were right, I was overdoing the noise reduction. Now I spend way more time on the stacking process and keep the denoise slider below 20 for any wide field. Has anyone else gotten feedback that forced them to rework their processing pipeline?
