The time my GPS sent me down a road that was basically a hiking trail
I was driving home late from a dentist conference in Portland, Oregon around 11pm and my GPS told me to take this shortcut through some neighborhood. Next thing I know, the road turns from asphalt to gravel, then gravel to dirt, then dirt to what looked like a goat path with trees on both sides scraping my car. I’m in a 2015 Honda Civic, not a Jeep, so I’m panicking but too stubborn to turn around in the dark. My GPS lady just kept saying “proceed to the route” like she had no idea I was about to end up in a ditch. I finally pulled over, pulled out my phone, and mapped a different way that added 20 minutes but kept me on actual pavement. Got home at midnight shaking my head at how I trusted that thing. Has anyone else had a GPS route that was totally un-drivable?
