Rant: My 'Ask Anything' thread just hit 500 comments and I'm a bit freaked out

I posted a simple question here last month about fixing a stuck garbage disposal, and the comment count kept climbing past anything I expected. It just crossed 500 replies this morning, with people still adding new fixes and horror stories. Has anyone else had a routine question blow up like this and how did you handle it?

Honestly that sounds like a dream scenario. More comments means more solutions and real world experiences to learn from. My post about squeaky floorboards got maybe three replies total. Would have killed for 500 different takes on the problem. All those extra eyes on your issue basically guarantees you'll find a fix that works.

Floorboard squeaks are often a nail that's worked loose, not the wood itself. Grab a hammer and a nail punch, drive that sucker back down below the surface, then fill the hole with wood putty. That fixed mine in about ten minutes after trying everything else.

Right? All those extra eyes. But honestly, after about fifty replies you start seeing the same three suggestions over and over. The noise gets real. It's a trade off for sure. You get volume, but you have to sift through a lot of repeat advice to find that one weird fix that actually works.
