Pro tip: people keep confusing 'canceled' with 'rescheduled' in restaurant reservations
I work the line at a busy spot in Austin and I swear half the no-shows last Saturday thought they canceled when they actually just moved their time. The online system sends a confirmation that looks way too similar for both actions, so people click through without reading. Has anyone else noticed this glitch in how booking platforms word things?

Disagree, the buttons are tiny and "cancel" blends into the page design on purpose.

Gotta disagree a little here. I think a lot of the confusion is people just not reading the screen before they tap it. The systems usually say "cancel" in big letters and "reschedule" in a smaller button right next to it, so it's not that hard to tell them apart if you slow down for two seconds. Plus, half the time people are just clicking through notifications on their phone without even looking, which is on them not the platform. If you're making a reservation, you should probably pay attention to what you're doing with it.
