My boss told me I was using too many bullet points in reports
He said I looked like I was writing a grocery list and needed to actually explain things. Switched to short paragraphs with bold headers and my monthly ops report actually got read for once. Anybody else get roasted for formatting stuff?

lol bullet points are the forbidden fruit at my company too. my manager literally put a red circle around every bullet in my last quarterly review and wrote "what is this, amazon?" like sorry for trying to be clear, Brenda. i switched to bold key phrases and actual sentences and suddenly people stopped skimming over my reports like they're junk mail. it's like the second you don't format stuff like a recipe, people treat it like real work. bullet points are efficient but i guess they're also the fastest way to get roasted in a meeting.
