Just saw my own photos from 6 months ago and I can't believe the difference in my lighting setup

I was scrolling through my phone last night and found a picture I took back in March. The colors were all flat and there was this nasty shadow across the whole thing. I didn't realize how bad it was until I compared it to a shot I took yesterday with a $40 LED panel I got off Amazon. The difference is night and day - the new one has way better color and no harsh shadows. Has anyone else had that moment where you look back and wonder how you ever thought your old work looked good?

That harsh shadow look kind of rules for certain moody shots though lol.
