I dropped $80 on a 'premium' online course about asking better questions

It was supposed to teach advanced techniques for getting clear answers, but the whole thing was just a bunch of obvious tips like 'be specific' and 'listen to the reply'. I finished it in an afternoon and felt totally ripped off. The only useful part was a short section on avoiding leading questions. Has anyone else bought a guide or class that promised a skill upgrade but was just common sense?

Ugh, that's the worst feeling. So they basically sold you a list of things most people figure out by just talking to others? What really gets me is the price tag for that. Did the sales page make it sound like some secret method, or was it just vague promises?
