Counted 847 unread emails in my inbox this morning and just stared at the number
I kept telling myself I'd get to them someday, but seeing 847 made me realize I've been lying to myself for 6 months, so what's your magic number for when you finally just hit select all and delete?

My inbox hit 1,000 plus back in March and I just stopped looking at the number. Gmail started showing "99+" on my phone so I quit checking the badge too. The day I finally scrolled and saw emails from 2022 still sitting there unread, I dragged the whole pile into archive without reading a single one. Best decision I made all year, and I have not missed a thing.
