Can we talk about how many people actually use their phone flashlight daily?

I saw a stat the other day that said something like 80 percent of smartphone users turn on their flashlight at least once a day. That number surprised me because I thought I was just weird for using mine all the time. I found it in a random survey from a tech site called PhoneArena from last month. They asked about 2,000 people and tracked their habits over a week. For me, it's usually for finding stuff under the couch or walking the dog at night in my neighborhood here in Phoenix. But I wonder if it's really that common or if people just say yes to sound normal. Has anyone else noticed how much they rely on that little light?

That stat actually tracks with how often I see people using it at the grocery store looking for stuff.

That bit about "finding stuff under the couch" really hit home for me. I had the same habit, but what helped was putting a small LED flashlight on a hook right by the front door, and now I just grab that instead of fumbling with my phone every time. It saves me a lot of battery life, and I don't feel so dependent on the phone for that one small task.
