A stranger's grocery list changed how I answer questions
I was at the self checkout at a Kroger in Dayton and the person ahead of me dropped their list. It just said 'milk, cat food, 2x4, duct tape'. I spent the whole drive home trying to figure out that combination and realized I was overthinking it. Sometimes people just ask things with zero context and the best answer is whatever they actually need, not the full story. Has anyone else had a random moment like that make them rethink how they give advice here?

Give the plain answer first, let them ask for the rest if they want it.
