The 1947 census microfilm I almost gave up on finally coughed up my great-grandma

After 3 Saturdays squinting at a flickering reader in the downtown branch, I found her listed as a 'laundress' on page 214, and now I'm kicking myself for not asking the archivist about the handwritten index in the back sooner, has anyone else stumbled onto a hidden finding aid that saved their whole search?
