Project Gutenberg vs library apps for old sci-fi, Gutenberg won me over
I spent a month trying to read 1950s sci-fi on my phone using a library app, but the wait times were brutal, like 6 weeks for one Asimov book. Switched to Project Gutenberg last Sunday and had the whole public domain catalog instantly, including 3 lesser-known titles I couldn't find anywhere else. The formatting on my e-reader is way cleaner too, no glitchy chapter jumps like the app had. Anyone else given up on library holds for older stuff and gone straight to Gutenberg?
