The volunteer who called every potshard 'trash' still bugs me

Last dig in New Mexico, this guy kept tossing pieces aside saying 'not worth cataloging' every 5 minutes. I held up a rim sherd with a painted line and asked if he knew how rare that pattern was, he just shrugged and walked off. Does anyone else get stuck on one rude volunteer ruining the whole site vibe?

Had a buddy who watched a self-appointed 'expert' grind a rare shell midden into dust just so he could say he found the bottom level. Still brings it up at every dig like it happened yesterday.
