That map of buried Roman roads under London blew my mind
I was reading a blog from the British Museum last night and found out there's over 50 miles of Roman roads still buried under modern London streets. They used ground-penetrating radar and found whole sections nobody knew about for centuries. The detail they mapped out is crazy, like they can see where the roads curve around old buildings. Has anyone else looked into these underground maps? I want to know how they tell old Roman stone from just regular rubble.
