Spent 20 minutes climbing the wrong tree because I didn't double-check the address

I was up at 6am for a removal in Oak Park, got all my gear on and started rigging until the homeowner came out yelling that I was on his neighbor's property. The city had put the wrong street number on the work order, has anyone else had a dispatch mix-up that threw off their whole morning?

Call the dispatcher right when you get the work order and ask them to confirm the address one more time. Saves you from hauling gear to the wrong spot before the sun's even up.

Walked right into this one myself last week, actually. Showed up at 48th Street for a wiring job and started pulling cable before realizing the house number was actually 84th but the city had mixed them up. Probably wouldn't have even thought twice about it before, but that tip from @eva243 about double-checking with dispatch ahead of time honestly sounds like a lifesaver now. Never really bothered with that step until I wasted an hour climbing the wrong damn tree last month.
