Walked into a unit in Portland and the 'landlord' was still living there

I showed up for a scheduled tour and this guy in boxers answered, said he'd just extended his own lease for another year and forgot to cancel the listing. He then offered to rent me his couch for $400 a month, which has to be some kind of record for cluelessness. Has anyone else had a landlord straight up admit they had no idea their place was still being rented out?

Boxers. He answered the door in boxers and thought this tour was still happening. That alone would've made me turn around, but then he hits you with the couch for $400 a month like he's doing you a favor. Four hundred bucks to sleep on some stranger's couch while he walks around in his underwear? That's not a rental, that's a hostage situation with extra steps. The part that gets me is he extended his own lease and just never told the company or took the listing down, so this dude is out here running his own fake rental business out of his living room.
