Showerthought: My landlord in Phoenix said the closet counts as a bedroom, so I said the hallway counts as a gym and now we just stare at each other
He walked me through a 410 square foot place and called it a two bedroom because of a closet with a rod in it, and when I asked if that meant the hallway was a gym he went quiet for a full ten seconds.

Closets technically meet the legal definition for a bedroom in some states if they have a door and enough room for a bed, so the guy might not be totally wrong. Of course a hallway being a gym falls apart the second you try to put a squat rack in it.
