Rented sight unseen from a listing video, then the air conditioner fell out of the window

I swore I'd never rent without visiting in person, but a Denver landlord's 2 minute walkthrough clip with the fridge door open and a dog barking in the background convinced me to sign, and now my AC unit is leaning out of the frame, so has anyone else been burned by trusting a video over a real look?
