Subbing vs dubbing debate took me 3 years to sort out

I kept flip flopping between subbed and dubbed shows because every fan forum had a different take. Then I realized the real issue was my reading speed, I was missing half the dialogue in subs when action scenes hit. Anyone else land on a side after way too long or still stuck switching based on the show?

It took me forever too until I stopped forcing myself into one camp. Watching with subs on my laptop rewinded scenes constantly, but dubs let me actually follow the story, so I just pick whichever is easier that day.
