Recap episodes seem to flatline thread activity overnight
Threads for recap episodes barely have any new points to discuss. I skip them and jump to the next proper episode thread. Do you bother with recap talk, or is it a waste of time?

People actually post in recap threads? I assumed those were just digital ghost towns auto generated by the forum software. The idea of having fresh takes on reruns of old content is genuinely surprising.

Scroll through the recap thread for last month's classic movie night... you'll see dozens of replies. Fans point out filming tricks or how the music sets a mood that we didn't get back then. Someone always brings up how the themes hold up today, which sparks more chat. It's never dead, just quiet until the next person drops a fresh thought. These threads become little time capsules with living talks, not ghost towns.
