Just had a talk with my little cousin about Naruto and got owned
My cousin who's like 12 told me he thinks Sasuke is actually the hero of Naruto because he forced change. I laughed at first but then he started listing points about the system being broken and Sasuke wanting to tear it down. He said Naruto just wanted to keep things the same but nicer. Now I can't stop thinking about it. Has anyone else had a younger fan flip your view on a show like that?

Bro honestly that kid is onto something lol. I used to think Naruto was the obvious hero because he never gave up and all that, but your cousin's take actually changed my mind a bit. Like the leaf village system was super corrupt with the clan massacres and the hokage letting Danzo run wild. Sasuke wanted to burn it all down and start fresh, which is more revolutionary. Naruto just wanted to put a bandaid on it and call it peace. I gotta admit I never saw it that way before, but now I'm rewatching the whole show with different eyes. Kids can be surprisingly sharp about this stuff.
