Had to choose between subbing or dubbing for Attack on Titan season 4

I always watched subbed for the first 3 seasons. But season 4 came out and everyone was talking about the English VA performance for Eren. I stuck with sub for 3 episodes but kept seeing clips of the dub that hit harder. Switched to dub at episode 4 and honestly the scene where Eren breaks down hit way different. But the side characters sound weird in English. Did I make the wrong call? Anyone else bounce between both for the same show?

I picked up the dub halfway through season 4 too and it felt weird at first. The side characters definitely lose some personality in English but Eren's VA gives it EVERYTHING he has in those big emotional scenes. You didn't make a wrong call at all, switching to get the most out of the story is just smart watching.

Yeah totally, I did the same thing with another show and it worked out way better.
