Vent: that roll where I shot the whole thing before realizing the film wasn't winding
Out at Crater Lake last fall, I was clicking away thinking I was capturing all these nice fall colors... turned out the sprockets slipped and the whole roll just sat there in the canister. Did you get too excited once and forget to check your advance lever, or do you always catch it before you blow through 36 frames?

Read somewhere that some old Nikons let you know with a little red dot if the film is advancing, but yeah I definitely did this once with a roll of Portra.

The red dot thing is overhyped, half the time you're too busy watching the frame counter anyway. Faithj10, that Portra was a sacrifice to the film gods, but maybe it taught you to actually check the rewind knob next time.
