Tried stand developing for the first time and my negatives came out looking like abstract art

I let a roll of HP5 sit in Rodinal for like 2 hours because I misread the dilution chart, and now every frame has these wild streaky patterns that look kinda cool but totally ruined the shots. Has anyone else accidentally made something kind of interesting from a botched dev process?

Man, that hits close to home. Done similar stuff myself with Rodinal and just shaking my head. The streaky patterns you're talking about, they have this weird organic look, almost like tree rings or something. Silver lining is you got some happy accident art out of it, even if the photos are toast. Sucks when a roll you cared about gets wrecked though, really does.
