Loaded my film backwards for 3 rolls before I noticed

Was out in Joshua Tree last month. Took 36 shots across 3 rolls. Got home. Developed them. Blank. Every. Single. Frame. Felt like an idiot. The rewind knob wasn't turning. That's what tipped me off. Has anyone else done this or am I the only clown here?

You don't load it backwards, you load it with the WRONG end first.

Did my friend actually forget to close the lid before she loaded it backwards?
