Last month I shot a whole roll of Portra 400 without realizing the back door was slightly open
Spent 3 hours on a rainy Saturday shooting fall colors in Central Park only to get some cool light leaks that actually looked BETTER than what I was trying to capture, has anyone else had a happy accident like that?

and someone on r/AnalogCommunity was saying how some pros actually leave their backs slightly loose on purpose for that exact effect, weird how mistakes sometimes end up being the whole vibe. i would say you got lucky but honestly that roll probably has more character than if you nailed it perfectly. sometimes the camera just knows what you need better than you do.
