Found a roll from my trip to Savannah and 11 of the 12 shots had the same stranger in them
Shot a roll of Portra 400 walking around Forsyth Park in Savannah last month and got the film back yesterday. Turns out a guy in a yellow jacket kept walking into frame because I was shooting at a snail's pace and he was just doing laps. Is there any way to save a roll like this or do I just call it a happy accident series?
Did you ever think about printing the frames as a set and just owning it? A buddy of mine had almost the exact same thing happen on a beach trip, some old dude in a red hat ended up in like eight shots. He was bummed at first but then he laid them all out on the floor and noticed the guy was slowly walking toward the water the whole time. It turned into this weird little story of a stranger's afternoon and he actually framed three of them together. So yeah, maybe don't fight it. Look at all twelve side by side first, the guy might be doing something you didn't even notice while you were busy focusing.
