Finally got my money back on that junk developing tank
I spent $40 on a cheap Paterson clone on Amazon and it leaked developer all over my kitchen on the first use. Took 3 weeks of arguing but they finally refunded me. Anyone else have bad luck with those knockoff tanks?

My buddy Mike bought one of those cheap tanks off eBay for $25. First time using it the center column popped right off when he was inverting it and soup went everywhere. His wife walked in right as he was standing there dripping fixer on the linoleum. Took him an hour to clean up and he still had to dump the roll he was developing. He just threw the tank in the trash and bought a proper Paterson the next day.

Wait, are we really acting like a little developer spill is the end of the world though... I mean yeah it's annoying but tossing the whole tank and a roll of film feels kinda dramatic, no?
