Spent $40 on expired film from 2019 and half the rolls came out blank at Coney Island
Last month I grabbed five rolls of expired Kodak Gold 200 off a guy in Brooklyn for $40. He swore it was cold stored but two rolls came back blank after a trip to Coney Island. I shot the other three at box speed and they looked muddy and green in the shadows. Next time I am overexposing by one stop and asking to see the storage history first. Anyone else get burned on expired stock, or do you just eat the loss and hope for the best?

Big deal, forty bucks for a roll of film, that's just how it goes sometimes.
