Spent an afternoon at a used bookstore in Nashville thinking about different endings for The Great Gatsby
I was flipping through an old copy of The Great Gatsby and got to wondering if Gatsby had just walked away from Daisy after that fight in the hotel, would he have lived? Like if he went back to West Egg alone and just let her go. The whole thing falls apart differently. Has anyone else thought about a specific point in a book where one small choice would change the whole ending?

Look, I made a call a few years back to take a different shift schedule at work and it completely changed my life. Ended up with way more time at home with my kids than I ever expected. That one choice let me be there for bedtime and soccer games instead of missing everything. Sometimes you don't realize how big a small move is until you're living the results. Keep an eye out for those little forks in the road because they matter more than you think.
