Spent $32 on a "build your own ending" writing workshop and the guy just had us vote on which draft to read
Three hours of my Saturday in Columbus and he never taught us how to write one, just had us pick between his two versions. Has this happened to anyone else, and did you ask for your money back or just eat it?

Ugh, that burns me. I paid $40 for a "plot clinic" last year and the guy spent half the time reading his own published novel out loud to us. I just ate the cost because complaining felt like more work than the class was worth.
