PSA: Rewatching 'Fight Club' made me want a sleep-focused ending

I pulled an all-nighter for work and put on 'Fight Club' to stay awake, zoning out on the insomnia bits. Imagine if the narrator just got a prescription for sleep meds and the whole plot dissolved because he was well-rested. Would that ruin the movie's point or make it a better health message?

People get way too deep about this movie... it's just a story about a guy who's really tired. The sleep meds ending would be funny, but it wouldn't ruin anything. It's not that serious.

Would Tyler Durden just become a boring sleep coach if the narrator got some rest? The whole anarchist vibe kinda falls apart when you're well-rested and not hallucinating. So yeah, sleep meds would turn it into a wellness ad, which is pretty ironic for a movie about breaking free.

Sleep meds fixing everything is a funny idea. But wouldn't that just turn it into a boring ad for big pharma, missing the whole anti-consumerism punch?
