My blender died mid-smoothie on Sunday and I made a batch of 6 in a panic. Which ending would you pick?
So last Sunday I'm making my usual morning smoothie, frozen banana, spinach, protein powder, the works. The blender makes this awful grinding noise, smoke comes out of the base, and it just quits on me right in the middle. I panicked because I had already dumped in about $8 worth of ingredients and I didn't want to waste them. I ended up mashing everything through a metal strainer with a wooden spoon and it took 20 minutes and my wrist still hurts. Here's where I need your help with the ending. Side A says the story ends with me buying a $40 replacement at Target that same afternoon and it works fine for another two years. Side B says the story ends with me taking the dead one apart on the kitchen table, finding a blown fuse for $3, and fixing it myself like a hero. My wife votes A because she doesn't want parts everywhere. I lean B but I have never soldered anything in my life. Which ending is the better story to tell people at a cookout?
