Had a truly awful Wednesday last week that felt like a movie ending gone wrong

I was rewatching The Mist (the 2007 one) and got to thinking about my horrible Wednesday last week. It started with me locking my keys in the car at 7am (had to call my brother from a stranger's phone), then I dropped a whole gallon of paint at work that splattered everywhere, and to top it off my dog chewed up my favorite work boots when I got home. Three things in one day, all avoidable if just one thing had gone differently. Has anyone else had a day that felt like the universe was writing a bad alternate ending for you?

Love how you pointed out that it's amazing how fast things can go from fine to wrecked. That's exactly how I felt, like I blinked and suddenly everything was on fire. By the time I got the boots off my dog I just sat on the floor and laughed cause what else do you do at that point.

Did you manage to salvage any part of that day, or were you just ready to call it quits by noon? I've had a couple of those super stacked bad days myself, and it's amazing how you can go from fine to absolutely wrecked in just a few hours. Sometimes the only thing that gets me through is knowing tomorrow is a brand new day with fresh chances.
