Dropped $80 on a fan edit of Interstellar that cut the ending into a cliffhanger
I backed a Kickstarter last spring for this fan remake where they rearranged the whole tesseract scene and ended it right when Cooper ejects into the wormhole. Paid 80 bucks for a Blu-ray and digital copy. They hyped it as a 'more grounded take' and honestly the first 2 hours were cool, but that ending just left me staring at my TV like, wait, that's it? The creator posted a poll asking if we wanted a part 2, but now it's been 7 months with zero updates. Has anyone else thrown money at a fan edit or alternate version that just fizzled out? I'd rather hear about the one that actually paid off.
