Vent: I thought those cheap wireless door sensors from that online marketplace were total junk until a client in Phoenix insisted I install a set six months ago and they've been flawless.
The client saved about $300 on parts for their whole house, and after checking the signal strength every week, I haven't had a single false alarm or dropout, so has anyone found a reliable budget brand they actually trust now?

Wait, wait wait. Tuesday? That's the most specific part of this whole story. @mark_nguyen95, your buddy's garage door opener didn't just die on a random day, it died on a Tuesday? That's almost impressive, like the thing had a calendar and picked the most boring day to quit. I'd be way more upset if it died on a Saturday, you know, when you're actually using it to go do fun stuff. Tuesday is just sitting there being all "well, guess I'm done now." Honestly, I'm a little amazed it even lasted a full year with how cheap those things are made now. You really get what you pay for, and a Tuesday death is just the universe telling you to upgrade anyway.
