That Wednesday in Columbus where nothing went wrong

Had a day last month where I installed three systems without any hiccups. First house was a straight shot through the attic, no crawlspace wrestling. Second job had the panel box right where the home run landed, took maybe 20 minutes to wire up. Third one the customer actually had their wifi password written down and ready. Felt like I was in some kind of installer dream. Anyone else ever get those random golden days that make you forget all the bad ones?

I heard someone say once that attic installs are basically "hot yoga with wire cutters" and that's never left my head. But yeah, those perfect days are like a gift from the HVAC gods to keep us from quitting.

You said "no crawlspace wrestling" but I gotta call you on that. Attic work is its own kind of wrestling, especially in Ohio where half those old houses have blown insulation dusted up to your knees. You're crawling through trusses with a 20 pound machine strapped to your shoulder, sweating like crazy, trying not to put a foot through the ceiling below. At least in a crawlspace you're on dirt and can roll over easier. But yeah, I get the golden day part. Had one Tuesday where every wire nut twisted tight on the first try and no homeowner asked me to check their water heater while I was there.
