Overheard a GC say alarm wires are easy to route after drywall

Guy told a client he'd just fish the wires through the walls after the sheetrock was up, like it was no big deal. Has anyone else had to clean up after a general contractor who didn't think about low voltage rough-in timing?

Oh geez, you have no idea how right you are! I had something super similar happen to me last year and it was honestly a mess from start to finish. I thought I had everything under control but then little stuff started going wrong and it snowballed into this huge disaster. Took me weeks to sort it all out and I still get stressed thinking about it. Totally agree with you, this whole situation sounds like a ticking time bomb just waiting to go off.
