Hot take: those new all wireless systems are a step backward for real installs
Was at a 3 story brick house in Cleveland last Tuesday and the wireless sensors kept dropping on the top floor because the walls are old plaster with wire mesh. Had to add 4 repeaters just to get a stable signal, which cost the guy an extra $180 on top of the kit. Gimme hardwired any day, anyone else fighting this on old houses?
