Found a faster way to mount keypads on drywall, took 2 hours off a job

Been doing commercial installs for years and always used the plastic anchors that come in the box, but they kept spinning on me in this new building with that thin drywall. Last week I tried those self-tapping metal anchors with a hex driver bit instead of a phillips, and both keypads went up in like 15 minutes total after I stopped messing with pre-drilling. Anyone else switch to a better anchor for hollow wall mounts, or do you just stick with the toggle bolts and deal with the extra work?
