Finally got the hang of fishing that 22/4 wire through a finished wall in a 1920s bungalow
I used to cut huge holes and patch for an hour, but after watching an old-timer in Cincinnati use a flex bit and a magnet, I can do it with one small access point now. Anyone have a better trick for dealing with plaster and lath?

Is fishing wire through a wall really that big of a deal? People act like it's some huge victory, but it's just basic home repair. Maybe we're just too used to things being easy.

My grandpa swore by a coat hanger and a lot of swearing.

Oh man, that reminds me of my buddy trying to fix his satellite dish with a rake and some choice words. He definitely would have gotten along with your grandpa, @rowangonzalez. Some jobs just need that kind of creative anger.
