Figured out why my 2 recessed sensors kept false alarming on a metal door frame in Reno
Tried double sided tape and foam shims for 3 service calls before a retired installer told me the steel frame was flexing and pulling the magnet off axis, so I drilled a 1/4 inch hole and recessed the magnet 3/16ths deeper, and its been quiet for 4 months, anyone else fight steel frame flex on commercial doors?
