Just hit 10,000 hours of A&P work and it's not what I expected

I crossed 10,000 logged hours on Saturday and honestly I felt nothing until my lead mentioned my torque wrench calibration was 3 months overdue. That woke me up. Has anyone else had a milestone moment make you realize you've been slacking on something basic?

You felt nothing until your torque wrench calibration came up" - that's exactly the point, isn't it? Hitting 10,000 hours doesn't mean you have everything figured out. If anything, that milestone should make you realize how much basic stuff you've been letting slide. Your lead calling you out on the calibration is probably the best thing that could have happened to you. Being good at big jobs means nothing if you ignore the small but critical details.

Honestly @angelacooper changed my whole mindset on that one, I used to think hours meant everything.
