Had a weird one with a Cessna 172's fuel selector valve yesterday

Was doing an annual on a 172N and the fuel selector just would not move to the right tank, felt totally stuck. Took the whole valve assembly out and found a tiny piece of what looked like old fuel line gasket jammed in the port. It must have broken off and migrated there over time. Got it cleared out and it works smooth now, but it was a new one for me. Ever seen something like that block a selector valve?

Wow, that makes me wonder what else could break off and get stuck in there!

Seriously @karenlee, the list is ENDLESS. I once had a plastic fork tine snap off in a takeout container lid. My friend's blender blade just left a tiny metal shard in her smoothie. It's like everything is secretly planning to leave a piece of itself behind.
